Two-way control (active testing):
The diagnostic tool supports active testing (two-way control), allowing you to request information or command modules to perform specific tests and functions. For example, in OBD II General Information Mode 1, you can send an information request to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), which will then send the information back to the diagnostic tool for display. Furthermore, the LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ can also drive relays, injectors, ignition coils, or perform system tests.

ECU coding:
Each automotive actuator has a recorded code in the ECU, which forms the basis for the car's computer to control its operation. The LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ is equipped with advanced ECU coding capabilities, solving the following problems: 1. After replacing a faulty actuator or certain components, this function is needed to generate new codes and identify the new actuator. 2. Changing codes through ECU coding can easily improve vehicle performance or activate advanced vehicle functions. 3. ECU coding enables multiple automotive systems to recognize each other, allowing actuators to function properly.
